Your mama always told you to and she was right.  On a good day, it makes your room happy.  On a chaotic day it'll make you feel like you have some control in the world. And when that unexpected guest stops by, you'll look like a supreme housekeeper (even if dust bunnies are hiding underneath). 

Your bed also falls under the category of what to splurge on in your home.  Splurge on your bedding. It is the centerpiece of your bedroom after all, and should be a place of comfort and beauty.
